Hello to all,
is it a classic scam or what?

I registered myself in to dating app for woman and got matched with this beautiful girl. At first we texted in the app and then moveed our texting to WhatsApp.
1st red flag - She claims she works as IT specialist - network engeneering for US military in Turkey. She sent me fotos in uniform. Then she claimed she suppossed to receive a large sum of cash as compensation or such, and need to send out of Turkey,
2nd red flag - I asked to see some HR document, she snet something to me, but to me it is fake.
3rd red flag - Then she ask me about my email. That the courrier company will contact me. And they did. No offical sites nothing about the courrier.
4th red flag - i searched her military number - nothing came back
5th red flag - when we try to call i think i saw some face, not sure if it was her, after 5 seconds videochating on Signal app (!), call ended.. she explained to me, our call ended due to security alert and she got some penalty for it
She has a dual citisenship. And lived in London.

What do you think?
And what should I do next.....? My mom get sick?:D

Yes this is a scam.

What you should do is break all contact immediately and block the scammer. Do not initiate contact via another account or email either. Just don't respond at all anymore.

This is a criminal and he has your personal details. While I do not suspect you are in any immediate danger, it's better to be safe than sorry.

I'm really glad your catfisher wasn't successful! By the way, this is how I got into scambaiting over 10 years ago - I kept getting red-flag responses on dating apps. I created a fake profile with an email address made for the experiment, and uploaded fake photos, mentioned my 12 cats and recent massive STD, and never once received a real inquiry. I did, however, get about 300 scammer responses over the next few years. Mostly I just resported them until I learned about scambaiting, then I dove in headfirst and...

Wait. What I mean to say is this: it's a fun hobby if you want to try baiting them from a safe address/profile, but you WON'T get addicted. Not at all. Trust me.
