The lad keeps logging in to check on his parcel. Finally, he also found time to send a message to the sender as well. He forwarded messages from P-Log and he is confident he is in good hands.

Just to keep him busy, I sent the following:
This is wonderful news. I have never had an issue with this company and I know you are in good hands.
Please do keep me updated. Getting a package across the world is what they do best.

One of my friends asked me a question totally unrelated to the package but might be of interest to you. He helps find "voices" for recording audio books. They search the world looking for voices that "match" the content. For example, when reading something like Shakespeare, an English accent is appropriate. Or when reading Sherlock Holmes, the same thing applies. Do you have a rich, deep voice? Such voices are sought out for "audio books" and if you have a good voice, you could send an audition tape and perhaps make some money from home.

I must get out to work now, so have a good day!
It's been a while since I've seen an audio book posted here, so perhaps he will decide to play along and earn money from home while waiting for his parcel to arrive. He can read a variety of things so we can find the best "fit" for his voice. Everything from "Good night Moon" to "To be or not to be..."

I hope he plays along, he is rather boring otherwise.

The lad writes with much gratitude and evasiveness all at the same time.
thanks alot for all your good work,my lord will surely bless you more
than your expectations.

please,do kindly let me know the items in the parcel, thats how many
laptops,phones inside this parcel.

and how much is included in the parcel,is it dollars, pounds, euros or
canadian dollars,i need to know all this before it arrives here,so i
can cross check,when its delivered.

do reply me with updates.

thanks so much,i am highly grateful.
Why would I itemise all the contents and ruin the surprise? Not much fun doing things that way, although I do like his idea of cross checking a list when it arrives! Nice try Mr Scammer.
You completely missed answering my question about voice for audio books. I thought it might be an easy way to earn money if you were interested. Please let me know.
As for the contents of the package, I have only one reservation in telling you, and that is that it is supposed to be a big surprise. As I told Aisha, many people rec'd new and updated devices at Christmas so we have several gently used but still very good devices for you. There was to be one lap top each and a phone for you and Aisha each. That much I will tell you. There is more inside, but I do not want to spoil a pleasant surprise, but you will be pleased with it I am sure.
We converted the money from Canadian to US dollars since American money is better know around the world. Again it is a surprise but I will tell you it is much more than the original moneygram amount.

I only wish I was there to see happy faces when it arrives.

On a related matter, my character approached the lad about auditioning for audio books. He ignored it until cornered, and finally sent this.

While I understand that you are eager to receive your parcel, I am sure you understand that the logistics process of getting a parcel from Canada to Nigeria takes some time. While we continue to improve our process and technology, teleportation is still not available to us at this time, so that we still have to use regular modes of transportation. According to our planning, the parcel should reach you around the middle of next week.

Express shipment is available if you would like. With express shipment the parcel should reach you this Friday. I can offer you a discounted rate of $ 735,25 for this premium service. Please let me know if you are interested.

As for your concern regarding Covid, I am sure that you appreciate the current global circumstances are not exactly making the logistics process any faster. We are bound to local and federal guidelines concerning the safety of our parcels, our customers and our employees. If Nigeria will indeed enter a lockdown, as you say, we will be sure to follow each and every safety regulation that has been put in place.

No books on tape coming from this lad. Not surprisingly he claims his voice is not good enough. And his lame excuses are wearing thin. P=Log has some requests coming up, so he will be busy fulfilling that prior to finding the package frozen for other reasons.
sincerely sir,i am not interested,my voice is so bad,so sorry sir. (how convenient...)

as per our funds,i am suggesting that the funds has to recalled back
to dubai, since uk is too far here and besides, lots of demurrage
involved. (sure it is....)

the documents is still with the attorney,we dont have it with us,cos
of no permanent place to keep such a delicate and sensitive
documents, the atoorney still in isolation.i am telling you in good
time,i will not want to upset or not telling you lately.cant go there
myself, but was learnt to believe,he should be there for 21days. (probably at least till the package arrives....)

my sister is not feeling too well, having constant migran, thats
stubborn headache and malaria, let that dont bother you, only telling
you,it is well.
In frustration, but leaving lots of room to manoeuvre for the lad so he can make amends........
Recall the funds? After wasting time sending them to the UK? What do you mean "uk is too far here". Dubai is almost twice as far, so you better explain this clearly. What demurrage charges do you refer to specifically? Give me actual numbers.
I have waited for the papers which were promised to me for Monday. It is now Wednesday. Now you tell me after many delays that you don't even have them? You have a $15 million fund out there somewhere and have no paperwork to back it up? Whose idiotic idea was that?

This lawyer would not have the papers on him, so go to his office and get a copy. Even you could handle such a task.

The people who helped me put together the package to send to you are now calling me and demanding answers. We all wanted to help but many now feel as though you are stalling and lying to us. You refuse to do audio recordings, you refuse to show documents related to the fund, and now your sister has malaria and headaches. I think I need to meet with my friends and determine whether we will continue this association since you do nothing except sit there except find reasons to do nothing.

I am very disappointed in you

Is there a way to gauge the laziest and lamest lad of all time??????????? The lad responds
please don't be disappointed with us. (how can I not be?)

i was only suggesting ,go through my last me and see it,but since you
dont like it,lets forget it then.i have not done anything yet. (never addresses my request for solid numbers)

as per the docs, cant go to the isolation centre, for some precautions
,not to contact the covid19.the relations of the attorney are out of
the country and would be back end of the month, but i understand, its
21 days and will be out ,hopefully by 25th he will be out.
yes,i think,i will handle it myself, once we collect all the docs from
him, please bear with us.but its the truth i speak here,my lord bears
me witness. (funny how everyone useful is either sick or out of the country...)

i can never do evil for good, for all you had done for us,please learn
to trust and believe me,i hold you to the highest esteem and will
never do anything to hurt you.whatever is the case now,i am sorry
,forgive me.

as per the audio,i dont know and still dont understand, but if its my
voice you want to hear, once my phone comes would do whatever you want
and send to you, thru your number, you can be rest assured ,i dont want
you to look at me or my sister as liars.but my voice is bad. lame excuses

let me hear from you now asap,i want to stay with my sister, should
incase ,he wants help.

advise accordingly.
I wrote back even more disappointed in him than before. Since he found out the shipment is taking longer than he expected, his lawyer suddenly became sicker than expected.......
You say not to be disappointed but do nothing to remove the disappointment which weighs heavily on my heart. You told me the UK was too far and I asked for an explanation, which you did not provide. You referred to demurrage charges, and I asked for actual numbers, which you did not provide. Why should I not be disappointed with someone who avoids providing details on complicated financial matters?

Have the attorney's office email me the documents. Don't give me the nonsense that now suddenly he is isolated and the rest of them have left the country. Why is it that every time there is a simple task, people are suddenly not available? There are too many coincidences here for my liking.

I offered you a chance to make money and explained it in detail. You pretend to be confused. I did not ask to speak to you on the phone, I made it clear what I wanted. You pretend to be confused and then make excuses to avoid doing something. That is your business, it's up to you. I make nothing on this, but wanted to give you a chance to earn money from the safety of your own home. You are the one who declined to help yourself. You plead for money but do nothing to earn it. One person who contributed $250 to the fund for your sister said to me "What does this guy do all day except watch gay porn and touch himself." I am not saying this is true but it shows how frustrated people are with this matter.

You signed your note to "advise accordingly". I lament that nothing I advise ever gets done. My disappointment grows daily.

He really wants those updates! He wrote to my character to make the same inquiry for him!
as i speak now,the package is not here,i wonder why the delay is
taking much more longer.

the package is now in Aeropuerto de Madrid Adolfo Suárez, spain.

i was told by the company that it will take a week, meaning its getting
here mid next week.please kindly find out from your end.
Since the shipper has the coveted 5 Star Service, how can I interfere and make this better? Are 6 Stars available? I think not...........
I am sorry if this package is not on your doorstep as quickly as you might wish. Your constant badgering for details should be directed to the company not me. I paid to have it shipped from me to you and have no control over what happens in between. As noted before, I did not have the money to pay for expedited shipping, so it is going via a slower route, but it will get there. I have also stated previously that if you have shipping concerns, contact the company and not me. Why should I ask them and then forward the details to you when you could just as easily ask yourself and receive the same answers more directly? It has been my experience with you that you are more eager to seek information than to provide it.

Here is a question for you. You sent a message telling me the package is in Spain right now. What exactly do you expect me to do? Please identify in detail what it is you expect me to do about it?

You need to find something to do with your time besides worrying about a package. As my mother used to say, a watched kettle never boils.

On a related note, some church members wanted to send money and sponsor an orphanage overseas. There was one called "Rainbow Orphanage" they mentioned as they had received an email from this home. Have you heard of it or do you know anything about it?

I do know the package will get there, but patience is something we all need at times. I understand you are anxious, but let things unfold. I can't make the planes fly any faster!
I am hoping he can recommend an Orphanage for me so another package can be sent. Might as well build his hopes even higher.........

This scammer just gets more absurd by the minute! My character has been looking for details of the million dollar fund, only to be answered evasively. Now, the lawyer handling it who is in hospital with covid for at least 21 days, just sent this message.
This is to inform you that i am on admission in the hospital and would
get back to you with the documents ,when i am back ,fine and healthy.

please do bear with me and sorry for the inconveniences this might
have caused you.

Why do I suspect this is one big lie? It is almost as though the scammer is waiting for his package worth thousands to arrive and is purposely avoiding answering questions. Yet, he swore up and down that he is a man of God and would never lie to me. I am so confused......

thank you very much for the high praise. We strive to provide the absolute best in Customer Satisfaction, so please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any suggestions on how we might be able to improve our services. I will forward you compliments to all staff involved.

As for the situation with the NIN-slip. While I understand that the NIN-slip is indeed issued by your government, it does not meet the strict requirements we have in place when it comes to a High Value Parcel (HVP). The HVP-protocol requires an official ID, not a temporary document. If I understand correctly, you do not have one of the required documents, so we will have to initiate the Biometric Identification Procedure (BIP), which I will explain below.

The BIP procedure requires a set of pictures to be made in specific positions. This will allow a compute algorithm to generate a unique and personal Biometric Profile for you, which then can be used to identify you upon delivery. To be able to distinguish any discerning marks or tattoos, you will have to remove your shirt and pants. Please note that we do not require (nor accept) nude pictures. Underwear must be worn at all times.

The positions are:
#1) With raised arms, horizontally besides the shoulder and feet close to each other,
#2) With hands high above the shoulders and legs apart.

This specific position is called The Vitruvian Man (Please use Google for examples). The Vitruvian Man position is used in various studies related to ideal human proportions, in recognition of human movements in software programs and now for our Biometric Identifcation Procedure.

In total, the BIP-procedure requires 8 pictures:
- 2 photos from the front (positions: #1 and #2),
- 4 photos from the side / lateral position (2 pictures from the left side for each position + 2 from the right side for each position),
- 2 photos from the back (: position #1 and #2).

The pictures are ideally taken outside, in sunlight so that any details (such as scars, tattoo, birthmarks) are visible and against a contrasting background. I am including an example for your convenience.

Once I have received the pictures, I can clear your parcel and final arrangements for delivery will be made.
An example for the requested pictures was included (a BIP picture set another lad did)

The lad has been really active discussing the package with the shipping company, but has been ignoring me and my questions about the millions of dollars he claims to have tied up. He said he has been too busy caring for his ailing sister to check email. I then told him that in his silence I checked with the company and found he has been rather busy! Then he blamed his old laptop for deleting messages......which then made me ask why is it that PLog messages are always answered but only mine are deleted. Further, if mine were deleted, how did he know how many of mine he had ignored?
It is fun to read the lies and child like explanations. He is expecting delivery on Wednesday of this week, so he's hoping to stall until then and then vanish. I wonder if that will happen??????

I signed off on my last note to him with the ominous words
If you do not change your ways, there will be consequences.

The lad can almost smell the package, it is getting so close. He is impressed with PLog and their 5 Star Service. However, he continues to deflect questions my character puts to him. He just sent this:
dear sir,

i did say sorry about it.nobody is ever perfect,we make mistakes at
times, but not always, accept my warmest apology.

the reason you will and can do be business with me is,i can be
trusted, puntuality,honesty,understanding and easy going.

all blames accepted, its now a new dawn ,effect from now.

please lets be patient till then and wait for the attorney,i plead with you.
So more apologies but no answers. There seems to be a pattern! He has been told to answer my questions or face consequences. Once that package crosses the border, he might find out what those consequences are.

Our friend is regularly checking the location of the parcel and has send several emails about the status of the BIP process.

However, some bad news for our friend
Plog wrote: Dear mr. E

I have just been sent the result of the analysis of your BIP Pictures. I am afraid that pictures are not suitable to be processed by our algorithm. I am afraid that I have to ask you to take the pictures again.

To make sure that we are able to process the next set of pictures you take, here is the report I have received:

Code: Select all

 (51) Lighting issue - overexposed
 (52) Lighting issue - underexposed
(133) Biometric details - feet not visible/partially visible
(134) Biometric details - hands not visible/partially visible
(135) Biometric details - head not visible/partially visible
(344) Contrast - contrast too low
Our technicians have indicated to me that you need to make sure that your whole body and all extremities (hands and feet) are clearly visible on the picture, as is your head. Furthermore they indicate that the pictures you have sent have sub-optimal lighting conditions which could not be corrected by our algorithms. Some parts are overexposed, while others are extremely underexposed. The pictures need to be taken with an even lightning, and have a high contrast background. Our technicians recommend you take the pictures outside, in front of a lightly coloured wall or a sheet of light cloth.

As for your parcel: it is steadily making it's way to you, and should arrive at your doorstep on Wednesday! The parcel is now en-route to Bamako from which it will be flown to Accra, Ghana. From Ghana the parcel will be put on a secure transport to our Cotonou hub. The local manager, mr. Cumberband, will contact you personally as soon as the parcel has reached the hub.

Please let me know if I can be of any assistance!

kind regards,

Chris Bacon

The lad will not want to do anything to interrupt the shipment of his package. He knows he is in trouble with my character and is hoping to hold him off until the package arrives.
My character wrote:

Once again you promise much and deliver little. None of your words address the concerns I raised. None. Why should I be patient? I have asked things multiple times and been ignored. I have waited for the attorney for weeks. I have waited for answers for ages. None of those matters were addressed by you. How honest are you when you have to keep apologising for lying to me?
The lad of course has no answers, no paperwork, so he again deflects by apologising instead of answering.
i still dont know what to say or do.overall ,i am very sorry.take me
for my words, its just nothing but the truth, accept me the way you see
it,you are my godfather, very soon, all will be the things of the past.i
promise to make ammends, since i have offended you much.
I wrote back:
You wrote "i still dont know what to say or do overall" Really? You don't know what to do? How about sitting down and providing detailed answers to the questions I have posed repeatedly!!!
Hopefully the lad will finally sit down and make up more lies, but clever ones based on much time wasted doing research. The pressure is on him now, which will hopefully make him Bertje's puppet to do anything just to get his hands on the shipment!

The lad is just playing dumb and playing for time. After a detailed message to him, an edited excerpt is above in my last post, he then writes to ask
what do you really want now?tell me
I replied, in part
I want to know in writing for certain when those papers will arrive. Not some useless certificate, but detailed paperwork about the source of this fund, where it is, who is handling it, what it's annual return figures are, and what is proposed to be done with it. Give me a definite date for this.
I do not want the usual mass produced certificate with the RSOT on it with badly photo shopped names on it. I want him to work a little harder. Once he provides the definite date, he will find his package delivery will be frozen until that date. But he has a day or two to stall until he finds that out. Let him re-do his biometric stuff and made an even larger idiot of himself.

As I have stated before, we are dealing with a HVP which means there are strict security protocols in place that can't be deviated from. As the document you suggest does not have your full name, as stated on the manifest, it will not suffice as Identification, even if it were one of the documents that we can accept as ID. However, we can only accept an ID-card and a passport, so the issue is moot anyway.

I appreciate that having to take the BIP pictures is minor inconvenience, but I hope you understand that the security protocols have been put in place for the security of your parcel.

Meanwhile, while I do not want to put any burden or pressure on you, please keep in mind that we need to receive your BIP pictures before the parcel reaches our Cotonou hub. Otherwise the delivery of your parcel might be delayed, which is something I would like to prevent.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for any questions or remarks you might have.
