Our story begins with a new widow! This time from someone who claims to be suffering from leprosy! As always, bold characters are mine. They are:

Sheev Palpatine: The initial contact
Derek Trotter: Sheev's lawyer
Melody Crowe: Sheev's granddaughter (ever since the "When Gordon met Sheev" story, Melody is now officially Palpatine's granddaughter)

And lad identities are in italics So far, the only lad (ette) is Mrs. Mina A. Brunel

Mrs. Mina emailed Shev last night with this message:

My Dear in the lord


My name is Mrs. Mina A. Brunel I am a Norway Citizen who is living in Burkina Faso, I am married to Mr. Brunel Patrice, a politicians who owns a small gold company in Burkina Faso; He died of Leprosy and Radesyge, in year February 2010, During his lifetime he deposited the sum of € 8.5 Million Euro) Eight million, Five hundred thousand Euros in a bank in Ouagadougou the capital city of of Burkina in West Africa. The money was from the sale of his company and death benefits payment and entitlements of my deceased husband by his company.

I am sending you this message with heavy tears in my eyes and great sorrow in my heart, and also praying that it will reach you in good health because I am not in good health, I sleep every night without knowing if I may be alive to see the next day. I am suffering from long time cancer and presently I am partially suffering from Leprosy, which has become difficult for me to move around. I was married to my late husband for more than 6 years without having a child and my doctor confided that I have less chance to live, having to know when the cup of death will come, I decided to contact you to claim the fund since I don't have any relation I grew up from an orphanage home.

I have decided to donate this money for the support of helping Motherless babies/Less privileged/Widows and churches also to build the house of God because I am dying and diagnosed with cancer for about 3 years ago. I have decided to donate from what I have inherited from my late husband to you for the good work of Almighty God; I will be going in for an operation surgery soon.

Now I want you to stand as my next of kin to claim the funds for charity purposes. Because of this money remains unclaimed after my death, the bank executives or the government will take the money as unclaimed fund and maybe use it for selfishness and worthless ventures, I need a very honest person who can claim this money and use it for Charity works, for orphanages, widows and also build schools and churches for less privilege that will be named after my late husband and my name.

I need your urgent answer to know if you will be able to execute this project, and I will give you more information on how the fund will be transferred to your bank account or online banking.

I prayed to the lord to give you the grace to complete this divine project for the benefit of the less fortunate people as I am impressed with your reply. All I requires from you is your total honest cooperation to carries out my very last wish/WILL indeed.

For your information this is my dream do not play with it, I have hand it over to you for you to fulfill it. Try and get this money from the (Society General Bank Burkina Faso), and use it to build an orphanage home in your country; I hope you are a God fearing person? And do not inform any one about it, let God be praise not man you will succeed if you keep it within yourself as a secret before the fund enters your account, take my words and let God be with you.

I want this funds to be used in the below percentage portion which I have prayed for and God has approved it divinely, also know that the fund can be transfer to you through an ATM Debit Master Card that will link into online banking account in your name.

(1) 70 % Of the Total funds should be used to support any Charity Foundation to cater for the Less Fortunate Person on earth.

(2) 30 % Of the Total Funds should go into Any Investment Of your Choice and Profession which is going to manage by you as a form Of Compensation for your impact in this Project.

I ' m making this proposal in accordance to God’s Direction while you must remember to keep every of this arrangement/transaction restrict from third party for security reasons.

Now was the time that Sheev would have taken advantage of Mina's request to "not inform any one about it", but he decided that it was too early to talk about informing people. So instead he just wrote:

Greetings, Madam Brunel

I am sorry to hear of your poor health; you mention that you are writing to me through your doctor. Please would you be kind enough to give me his or her contact details for future reference, should I need to get in touch with him or her?

You already know my name which is Sheev Palpatine. I originate from the United Kingdom, Mina and I am 75 years of age (That is the age of Ian McDiarmid, Palpatine's actor).

The next day, Mina wrote back still asking for details and attaching more pictures. We'll attach those in a moment, after this message that Sheev got from Mina:

My Dear,


Thanks for your mail and the reason I choose you is that I want to share the charity to reach the world. I have already done some charity here in the local villages and towns of Burkina Faso, so this time around I need the charity to reach other countries, the world and not only Burkina Faso and this is why I chose you as I saw your contact in my dream after my 5 days fasting. You can see how cancer has disorganized my nature and change my appearance and body. So I know I have no hope in life and this is why I need your assistance and as I was directed by God to contact you, I cannot question God because he knows why... This is my Identity and my current photo.

So please this is the reason why I choose you and I believe that you can have this done, and God will reward you and your family. Attached are some pictures of the charity I have done here in the local villages.

Also, I want you to provide your details below, so that I shall instruct my Doctor to draft an Application letter, to fill and send to the bank. and I will use this information to prepare an Authorization Certificate from the Ministry of Finance in handling over the fund to you legally. I will be sending you the certificate of deposit of this fund immediately after your response, to retrieve the deposit on my behalf and disburse the funds.

This is true and real, I am serious with all my heart, It is an agreement between me and my faith in God, I ask God to give us courage and heart to establish these charity organizations with confidence and trust which is much more important, you are not doing this to help me, but what we are doing is to help the charity and bless them with what we have by the grace of God, but I am little beat afraid I do not know if really you are going to use this fund to do this work as I said, please do not use this as a privilege or an opportunity of a fortune, remember that God sees us and he knows our heart more than we do.

Remember that this is the work of God and no one lies or deceives God, Therefore, I once again wish you can read this message calmly with clear heart and give me full assurance of your word as a good Christian I pray that God will continue touching your heart to fulfill your promise to embark this issue with your own personal time and efforts.

Now was the time for Sheev to seize upon Mina asking him not to inform anyone else about the business. And did he take any notice? Nope. He wrote to Mina to say:

Hello Mina

As I said to you before, my information is going to be very limited down to my name, age and country: My name is Sheev Palpatine, I live in the UK and I am 75 years of age. You mentioned in your last email that this would have to be as secret as possible (or something along those lines), but I'm afraid that is something that I cannot do.

Especially since you ask for ID and my phone number. If you wish for a phone number, I recommend that you get in touch with either my lawyer, Derek Trotter, or my granddaughter, Melody Crowd as they are likely to have phone contacts and are far more likely to use phones than me.

I have copied them both in on this email. I ask that you introduce yourself to them both and build some kind of rapport.

I'd have to go look at past posts but isn't Mina's scam format very similar to another one of your lads. Or maybe that of another baiter that posted recently. They tend to blend together after a while. Props to her doing her Norwegian homework and mentioning Radesyge. What's with all the leprosy? Did they have a bunch of pet armadillos or something (they are common carriers believe it or not). Those hospital pics are so low down and dirty. This lad should have a rather seamless transition into Hell. So far (s)he's exploited the: dying widow, cancer/disease, orphanage, and religious cards in rather quick succession.

^^^ yeah, they do. Apparently their body temp is ideal for the bacteria that causes the disease. Humans spread it to the animal hundreds of years ago and is the only other living creature known to be a carrier besides us. Interesting trivia I guess.
