As you can tell by the subject of this post, Melody Crowe is back! She wrote:

Would you appreciate it, if I said I haven't got a clue about what you are talking about?

Well, as it turned out, this lad did appreciate it and this sparked him to send a better worded email back to Melody. Now, truth be told, she though she'd never hear back so ended up deleting the original email. This is what the lad wrote back:

Hello,

I am in receipt of your email.

The email you received from the Office Of The Senate is a notification that your payment has been approved (US$5M)by the Senate Committee.So the fund is coming from the Nigerian Government through the Federal Ministry of Finance.

For us to proceed on the processing of your payment via ATM CARD,Do forward the following details below.

1. Full Names
2.Phone and Fax number
3.Contact address,Your age and Current occupation
4.A Copy of Identification.

As soon as you forward this required information,It will be forwarded to the Atm card Issuing Department and the Paying Bank.And it will take four banking days for your payment to be process and the Card be issued in your name.And every relevant documents for the claim will be obtained over here and be included in the package that will contain your ATM CARD which will be dispatched to you via Dhl.

Upon issuance,a copy will be sent to you via DHL alongside the operational codes and Payment Identification Numbers(PIN) to enable you activate the card for withdrawals.Again,your withdrawal rate must not be more than $5,500 Dollars daily..

Kindly, follow my directives so that your funds via ATM card can be processed immediately.

So did Melody provide any details? No. She asked about where the fund was from, and sent this to Robert:

This made Robert have to come back and ask Melody for her details again, but in this email he said the true purpose of the money:

In a question I asked on the advice thread, another scambaiter suggested that I give the excuse that I lost all my documents while moving across whichever country my character was based in. So that's what I did; Melody wrote back to Robert to say:

As you can probably tell from my email address, my name is Melody Crowe; I am seventeen years old. If you want a phone number, I would suggest you contact my grandfather, Sheev Palpatine as he is the best bet for a phone number.

In the case of the ID, I am afraid that I cannot provide it because I had moved across the UK and lost all of my documentation! Officials want my birth certificate to get a passport and they want my passport to get my birth certificate! I just don't know what to do!

So the Nigerian Senate wants to put $5 million USD in your wallet via an Asia Pacific intermediary Idiot. I've never understood the allure of the ATM modality that lads love to use in their scams. The arbitrary daily limits they quote are almost always unrealistic. I dare your lad to find an ATM that will spit out $5,500 each day. Most banks impose a ~$500 daily limit. Don't correct him though. The more ridiculous his story the more likely potential victims will steer clear of this bozo. And fork your lad's rule about not accepting PO boxes. That's illegal (probably not true but he doesn't really know either way). PO boxes are US Federal property and refusing to send mail to them is akin to it being illegal to refuse cash. "Legal tender for all debts public and private" is printed on each bill for a reason.

I bet if you contact the card center without his stupid 811-atm security code that he'll still work with you. I hope you make this loser cry!

ETA: With all his mentions of the US dollar I forgot that your baiting character lives in the UK. HRM would be appalled by your lad's besmirchment of the Royal Mail

Yeah, dollars do seem to be the default currency of lads (as in, the sum they promise, not the payment gateways like Western Union, Momeygram or gift cards)

Robert replied to Melody to say to ask her grandpapa for his phone number, but Melody just told him:

Meanwhile, Melody wrote to Robert to ask about her ID; here's how that went:

Melody: So...should I still send ID? What am I supposed to do in this position?! Help! HELP!

Robert: Kindly go ahead and send your full names, address and your grandfather phone number. That is all I am waiting for us to proceed

Melody: You didn't answer my question. What about the ID?

Meanwhile, Sheev replied to Robert to say:

I thought that Melody gave you most of her information already; and she sent this email to me because you want a phone number...

But alas, Robert pushed back to say:

She has not sent any information requested. I am sorry if she did not send them, I approved payment via ATM Card will not be processed.

Sheev pushed forward to tell Robert:

Oh no, Mr. Richardson...

You will find, that she has sent information. She sent you her name and age. And if you check your mail, she probably sent you something else...

In the meantime, Melody sent some ID to Robert. She sent this in fact, with an accompanying message:

Fine...this is the best thing I've got. Sorry about the scan, my grandfather accidentally blew it up using lightning or something.

With it, she attached this:

But Robert just told her not to contact her again, much to Melody's dismay because she wrote:

Come on! Pretty please. I sent you as much information as I could, Robert! What more do you want?

Meanwhile, Robert sent the same message to Sheev but he tried to get Robert back with this:

Oh, but I will contact you again...and you will answer to me.

Not sure if any of your characters mentioned what your grandad's name is but you could direct him to the Lenny chat bot modality. Just make sure any of your correspondence with him that you paste here on Eater in your baiting threads doesn't include his phone number. Lenny's modality is kept behind a login to keep Google and other search engines at bay. The Lenny thread has links to the Google Drive where his calls are stored so if you send a lad there then monitor the files that weren't able to be moved into an assigned folder. Lads aren't too great at enunciation or pronunciation so you may need to PM the owner of the Lenny modality if you recognize your lad when others could not. Lenny allows you to stop lad's phone call requests while maintaining their level of general misery The more you keep your jackass busy the more likely that he won't have much time trying to scam real victims.
