As the stirring sounds of Elgar's 1st Pomp and Circumstance March plays, it gives me great pleasure to announce the graduation from the mentoring program of ZenosParadoxes. Though not posting much on the forums, this new member has quietly been collecting pigs behind the scenes and creating tall tales to frustrate lads. 16 pigs have been counted to date, with the promise of many more.

Though the baits themselves are not posted in the forums, I have been reading forwarded messages and have been impressed with the story lines and ability to control the lad and get them off script. It is basic "straight baiting" but highly effective. Add to this an inquisitive mind who reads other baits to learn, and has dreams of lads with tattoos, safaris etc. the future looks bright.

One interesting aspect was a recent bait where Zenos intentionally had the lad coughing up accounts.....one from each inhabited continent on earth, missing only South America before the lad clued in. An international pig hunting tour de force. Sort of like hitting for the cycle in baseball.

Anyway, after sending me the $250 via WU for the gown, mortar and hall rental, please welcome ZenosParadoxes as the newest graduate of the mentoring program.

It was my privilege to stand on the shoulders of a man with the talent to encourage countless lads to traverse beyond their native lands. A man with the patience of Job and the finesse of Ali, Sparky guided this new baiter from the fundamentals to the finer points - when to wield the power and when to appease the ego, and to encourage thinking outside the box.

His kind words leave me at a loss for my own words, almost as much as his dedication to the craft and his skill to combine humor with the pursuit of a just world.

A mentor and a friend is what I imagine every educator aspires to be; my friend, you have a unique talent for both.

The graduation party will be held at the Sheraton in Mali, where the computer room should be free for all as long as everyone presents well.

Just a bit of an update here.......after graduating, Zenos managed to get that South American bank account! This means that the lad has coughed up at least one account from every continent except Antarctica! I don't know if records are kept on such details, but I think that is pretty impressive to keep the same lad on the hook and keep gathering pigs worldwide. Is there an icon for that?
