I have a lad that has gone way out of script. It was a 'help me get these boxes out of Afghanistan' bate, and after some incidents, the secondary character has mentioned an award.

Is asking about the award considered educating the lad?

If it means having the lad spent time answering questions, and no corrections are made, I can't see how it educates him.

What I mean is, is this a mistake (talking about an award in no award related scam) that he might do again and maybe make a victim aware something is dodgy.

If it is I do not want to let him know.

I am baiting a lad, the scam is related to money from Afghanistan.

I got the second character to go completely off script l, and now he is starting to talk about an award (nothing related to the original scam)

My question is, shall I point that out and have him explain himself to waste his time? Or if I do not point that out, will he maybe make the same mistake with a real victim and maybe the real victim becomes suspicious because of the mistake?

If it's totally unrelated to his script, he probably won't make this mistake with someone else ? If it IS his script, I wouldn't point out the mistake, but just go with it.
