One of my lads just told me he "got the fluids" this week and couldn't respond for a bit. My character is deliberately misunderstanding him to mean he got very drunk and is hungover. I'm pretty sure he means he's got the trots, but now I want to work that phrase in from time to time to see how he reacts. "My roommate and I got the fluids last night. We had a lot of fun!" Not sure that counts as an April Fools gag, but it's definitely a phrase I want to use casually with other lads as well!
