As this bait is ongoing, I will not be providing names or the fake locations used.

Characters:

We begin with a Nigerian Prince, who wished for 'me' to invest his ten million dollars in the United States:
My names are Prince [removed], I work as the Regional Manager of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc. With operational office at Falomo. I have packaged a transaction that will be of mutual benefit to both of us. I want you to help my family received and invest the sum of USD$10.5Million dollars my late father deposited in a bank here before his sudden death.

My mother and I want this funds to be transferred and invested in your country through your assistance and directive, 30% of this funds is your percentage for assisting us.

This funds transaction is 100% genuine and free risk. There is nothing to be afraid of.

Please get back to me through this email address ;[removed, will report] For more details

Regards,
Prince [removed],
We went through the regular introduction; I provided him with 'my' address - a nursing home that I can assure you does not exist, nor has a real address - claiming that I have no mobile phone due to my children.

He accepted this and claimed that a bank would contact me. The bank did not, prompting me to email him again. He sent me the same email he did when asking me to provide me with information, but with the added caveat that I must provide my ID.

I provided him with a list of information that was obviously faked, claiming that my nurses had the real ID and would not give it to me. He accepted it, despite the fact that the ID number I gave was 12345678987654.

There was no response. I changed emails, which took about a day and forced the Prince to go off script. It was not particularly interesting; I will not share it here.

The 'bank' then emailed me with the following:

Union Bank Nigerian Plc,Falomo branch, 36, Marina (Stallion Plaza), Marina, Lagos State Nigeria

I forwarded the email to the Prince, who begged me for my ID:

How are you today? Thanks for the bank message you sent us. You are to
tell the bank how you want to receive the funds, if you want bank to
transfer this funds to you through bank account, then send to my bank
your bank account details, if you prefer
ATM MASTER CARD OR CHECK, by this means you don't need to send your
bank account information rather the funds will be prepaid to ATM CARD
or issue to
check and deliver to your home or office address through courier
service. So get back to
the bank and tell them your choice of receiving this funds. For us we
prefer ATM master card, with it no tax or any government intervention.

Attached is deposit certificate of this funds and my passport.
Send us also your i d
Nothing was attached.

The form the bank sent was perhaps the ugliest I have ever seen. I did not fill it out, instead responding by instructing them to send the money in a check enclosed in an unlabeled box to a fake PO box, where my 'brother' would pick it up for me.
Again, there was no response for the next few days.

Meanwhile, as I had already sent the ID, I yet again emailed the Prince:

I sent the information contained on my ID to you. Do I have to provide it again to the bank or will you forward it to them?

The prince told me to provide it to the bank.
At the time, I was pestering the bank email address for a loan for my 'daughter,' who apparently wishes to start a food delivery cooperative in Abuja; I placed the ID information in one of these emails:
While I am engaging in this business of [removed]'s money, I would like to enquire about the subject of loans. My daughter, you see, is opening a cooperative in Nigeria that will distribute food from community gardens that it will found, as an extension of her efforts in the United States, Angola, and the DRC. It will, of course, be a business, but one for philanthropic reasons. She has the collateral necessary, of course.

She is already in Nigeria; her business will open provided that she has received the documentation required, which she is currently negotiating. While she may opt to go for a bank in the United States, I personally think that it would be better to do something more local - it fits with her ethos, which is to give as much autonomy and opportunity to those she helps.

There was no response regarding the loan. I emailed the Prince asking him to appeal on my behalf. And here - here! - I managed to force him off script in the most spectacular way:
No. We can't give any loan to any person here we and won't invest any
dollar here. If you don't want to help us receive this funds in U.S
and invest it there indicate earlier the better. nI don't know why you
are involving your daughter and Nigeria in this matter, You want to
expose this hard earn family funds to government.
Wanting to ensure that this would not end the bait, I simply let it go:
That is not what I meant. I am talking about the Union Bank; that is, whether they can, outside of this transaction, loan money.

I want this money to be protected as much as possible; the loan has nothing to do with it.

But never mind; I have checked, and COVID-19 will probably stop her from even opening the business at all.
And that ended it. The 'bank' sent a poorly-made check; I forwarded it to the Prince, who then wrote the following:
Thank you, have you replied them and how and when are they going to
ship it with courier to you.
I sent the following in return:
I assumed that that would be the work of the courier service. Aren't they supposed to contact me with more details?

Why would the bank be in charge of the delivery?
The Prince responded quickly:
No bank will not be in charge of the delivering, they will hand the
parcel to courier service tomorrow, then courier service will contact
you for the shipment delivering arrangement.
This was contradictory, and thus I emailed him back:
I really do not understand. Do I contact the bank about the courier service or wait for the courier service to contact me?
Annoyed, the Prince sent the following email:
You should be understanding them and listing to the bank. bank said in
the email you sent me that they will contact the courier service for
the delivering. So wait for the courier service to contact you because
as soon as bank handed them the parcel and your information they will
contact you.
I did not press on further. I sent the prince a list of Bible quotes:

These are terrible times. Many of my friends have died; I am sure you have been affected too. These Bible quotes gave me happiness; I hope they will do the same for you.

Matthew 6:25 - "'For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?'"

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 - "But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies."

Philippians 4.6-7 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Miraculously, there was a response, probably because the Prince wanted 'me' to feel more relaxed in making the 'transaction:'

We shall not be affected by any virus, have faith in god.
I was then finally asked for money, by the courier service:
We have today received your Funds Check parcel from UNION BANK Nigerian PLC,to
deliver to you. Before we shall proceed to ship this parcel ( CHECK )
to you. we shall need $380 delivering fees.We shall need this money to
prepare your shipment waybill and and your tracking number which I
will send you so that you will be tracking the movement and know
whereabouts the parcel until it arrive your place and also settle
custom's before this parcel will be arrow to leave here to U.S.A.

You are to send us today or tomorrow this delivering fee through our
agent in U.S.A.

As soon as we hear from you, We shall send you our U.S. agent name you
will send the shipment fee.

Attached is my I.D Card and your Check PARCEL. awaiting shipment in our custody.
I capitalized on the existence of my 'daughter,' and sent the following email:

Why is the delivery so expensive? I once shipped something to the DRC to my daughter - it was one-tenth of the price!

Is it for security?
I have not received anything in response yet.

Well, those details that this lad sent you were...strange. Never have I seen a lad ask for physical details like height, eye color and what have you. I wonder why he wants them...

Also, what does "Expiration" in this context mean? Is that the expiration of your character's credit card?

I interpreted it as the expiration of the New York ID that the baiter provided fake info from which I assume is a fictitious driver's license I guess. The lad probably managed to get a copy of a victim's ID in the past at some point and simply regurgitated the crap he saw on it onto his precious little form.

bikeatl77 has explained it correctly.

But now for an update:

The lad is getting impatient yet again:
This Your parcel contained Check of funds you are expecting to
receive, not ordinary envelop. Is not all the courier service that
accept such shipment ( Check of funds) because is very risky, If
anything happens to your funds, we are the people that will pay for
it,The money we charge you is peanut compare to the value of your
parcel. From that $350, we will settle customs, prepare airway bill,
tracking number which you will use follow up the parcel it arrived
your destination.

If you are ready to received the parcel let us know so that we can
send you name of our agent to send the money.
I responded stating that I was ready, and received the following email:
okay i will contact our agent in U.S and send you name you will used
send the money
Then the following email:

You are to send the money through our financial secretary bank account below

[bank details that I am going to report]

You pick the money and go to bank nearest to you and make the payment,
after sending the money, send me payment slip. If they ask you why you
are sending the money, tell them is your relation that is here.
Bringing the nursing home up again, I responded with the following:
Unfortunately, the people at the nursing home are not letting me out. Is there another way I can pay, preferably online?

...tell them is your relation that is here.
Typical POS lad  They love to tell victims how legitimate and risky free they are in terms of doing business but immediately ask you to lie to bank and/or money transfer agents when it comes time to send across the bogus fees. The "Prince's" very first email to you told you to not be afraid because the transfer is "100%" risk free. Not suspicious at all :? You could insist that the fees be deducted from the millions already due to you. It is your money afterall. Doing that is just a minor time wasting measure but it can also get under their greedy little skin because they can almost taste the money at this point. The excuses they provide can be pretty entertaining and if they provide you with a long drawn out reason as to why doing that is impossible you can almost see the mental gymnastics required of them to concoct such a lame ass excuse. Nice of him to start the payment phase by serving you up with some tasty bacon to report though! I'm also glad to see that there are still Nigerian princes out there that understand and advocate proper modalities that can easily fork them completely over at some point :P

This lad apparently doesn't understand what it means to live in a nursing home:
If you are serious to received your funds, you have to make out time,
excuse your co workers and go to bank and make the payment. You know
what you are pursuing. If you get this check worth of this amount,
What are you working again?, god have bless you already..

Secondly, if you can go to post office and buy money order of $350,
then I will send you Name and address of our agent there in U.S ,
where you can post the money order.
And in response to my previous emails asking for a loan on the behalf of my daughter:
Why are you delaying receiving your funds? Do you want us to cancel the transaction and confiscate the Check?
This is simply disgusting.

And so I wrote in response:
I am retired, and live in a nursing home. The people there will not let me leave. Is there a way I can pay online? Again, I cannot leave; I am eighty years old and the nurses at the nursing home, where I live and am taken care of, will not let me leave. I have a credit card; is it possible to send it through an online service.

I don't know how many times I have to repeat this, I can send the money, it is just that I cannot leave the home where I live because the people there will not let me.
Extra repetition so that I can get it through this lad's head that 'I' am a nursing home resident.

^^^ normally I'd recommend sending the numpty the "nursing home" Wikipedia link but it has a pic or two and links to other sites with pics that this scumbag would probably reuse. The US address probably belongs to a mule or another lad he's chums with. Why he thinks you can walk out of your retirement jail to chase after a money order is beyond me. You should get the US address and send a personal check instead. You could throw a wrench into the gears of the lad/mule relationship by telling the lad that you sent the check standard post. He flat out told you to send it that way so whatever happens next is his fault. I bet he doesn't realize that there are no tracking numbers assigned to regular letters. Lads hate that and are often dumbfounded because they're only familiar with major couriers like DHL. Later you can ask him where your funds are because the check was just cashed. If your lad and the mule aren't that tight he may drop that mule or at least exchange some choice words. Expect a lot of whining and nasty insults about you from him when it all goes sideways :D

What part about "stop giving baiting advise" is so hard to comprehend for you?
