Beware of an ongoing scam, messaging people on this sub.
There's a scam going on where a user of this subreddit and other christian subs messages people.
It follows nearly the same script as has been posted here: They pretend to own an orphanage in Uganda, claim that they're in a bad situation money-wise and asks for your financial support with a shady GoFundMe link. IMO the best thing we can do, is to waste these scammers' time, because any time they spend on our bait, is time they can't spend preying on a more vulnerable individual. Do you all have any good ideas on how to waste their time?
Beware of these scammers preying on your empathy.
