So, just like my previous one, I went on scamwarners.com and composed an email, making it look like a reply. The original email (which I never received but pretended to receive) was this:
Pretty basic scam, to say the least. No fancy bells and whistles, just straight-to-the-point. I like his style.Good Day To You Dear..

I "replied", saying,
The scammer then basically copy-pasted his previous email.Dear Mr. Dudley,
I was told to contact you with my personal information? It was quite sudden, what's all this about?
Sincerely,

Now this wasn't going to do! He was jumping right into it! I may like his style, but Jacob sure doesn't.
In truth, I have not gotten a pay-as-you-go card yet, and as of right now, I'm a bit nervous talking on the phone.Willam,
This is going all a bit too fast.
I do not have a phone number. Is that okay?
My name's Jacob Trevor Watson. I'm 39.
Sincerely,
J
Just like last time, I claimed Jacob was 39, not 32, like my character usually is. There was no reason this time - I just felt like it.
The scammer confirmed that not having a phone was ok:
Very simple, this man.No problem now how do you want to receive your funds?
I was in a call with some other scambaiting friends of mine, who gave me the genius suggestion of responding with:
Surprisingly, the scammer was alright with that! So much so, in fact, that he sent the email twice!Dear Willam,
Could I get my funds through Apple Pay?
Sincerely,
Jacob
I was a bit slow to respond due to some personal issues, so 3 days later, I finally responded with,Good Day Dear Jacob
You can receive your funds through anything you want but the only
problem is the delivering fee which is $100 only if you are ready to
send the fee let me and you can send your address immediately
Best regard
Willam Dudley
Here comes one of my favourite parts - apparently, this scammer regards birthdays very, very highly:You need my address, right?
Is this still available?
Also, how are you doing? I hope you're well. My daughter recently had a birthday party - that's why I've been away from my computer.
Thanks
Regards
Mr. Jacob Watson

Mr Willam Dudley.
Now, this next one's a bit hard to show, but I'll try my best to attack an image here (if it doesn't work out, that's alright, I can describe). I decided to mess with him just a bit by distorting my signature significantly in terms of colour, font, and size, replying,
and signing off with:Mr. Dudley,
Thank you for the birthday wishes, I'm sure she'd greatly appreciate it. Here are the details you asked for:
3108 Alpine Ave NW, Walker, MI 49544
I don't have a phone number.
I work as an engineer.
I live in the United States.
However, the scammer didn't even seem to notice this. Shame. Instead, he replied,
Now it's time for needless questions!Okay.. so when will you send the fee because that's only thing that holding the transaction now
Where do I send the money?
Can you get steam wallet card or iTunes card?
Me and a couple of friends found a steam code online and changed two of the letters and one of the numbers, making the "code" invalid:Have you get the card?
That wasn't enough for him, though. He said,Yes! I got a card through steam.
Here's the code:
BAX59-223IU-PEL3A
I stalled, saying, ttached the card picture with the slip please
Thank you
I'm having a bit of trouble with gmail, I can't seem to figure out how to send you a picture. Is there any way you could help me?
Slightly passive-aggressive:Can you create another Yahoo account because we need the picture of the card with the slip please
Thank you
Well, I could, but I don't think I will
Uh oh. Is he onto us?can see that you are not serious to receive your funds. The card you sent me is not good
Not quite. But just to mess with him a bit, I said, again passive-aggressive,
The scammer was obviously confused. You're right, it's not
Time to turn the tables and blame him for the stalling:Then why do you do that?
That annoyed him.Because you're not being serious about this!
Really. Okay I'm not going to force you to do this if you don't want to receive your funds tell me so that I will stop sending emails to you please
Thank you
No no no I still want to do this I just wanna know if you're really serious about it
Well then... it was time to end this one, I think, so I said...To be honest with you I'm telling you the truth and the only thing that holding your funds now is the fee
...making sure to put my "name" in quotation marks.Telling the truth, hmm?
Well, for a scammer, that's certainly a bold claim.
Hope you had fun wasting your time like this. I know I sure enjoyed it.
Find a better occupation. Rethink your life choices.
Sincerely,
"Jacob Watson"
Well, that's my second scambait! I'm really enjoying putting my work on here. Helps me keep track of it all.
