With the current state of things concerning COVID, the Mod Team feels the safari ban, which has been in place for over a year now, can be lifted.
Yes, safaris are allowed (and encouraged) again!
However, we add two conditions:
- No illegal border crossings or travel outside of local regulations are to be encouraged or demanded. Yes, this onus falls on the baiter.
- You will require the lad to send proof of vaccination before travel.
(How? Figure it out yourselves, you are a creative bunch! No matter where you stand on vaccinations, you must agree a needle in a lad's arm is always a good move)
The mod team have all chipped in and we have a fresh supply of Pith Helmets in storage for those who deserve them. We are looking forward to seeing the lads travel again!

Proof of vaccination could be as fake as the rest of documents they send.

^^ You have a point here but I'm sure that many of us have the skills to set fakes apart from real documents.
In case one is not sure, post the document and ask for advice

I can't believe it took me this long to see this. If time permits in my schedule, maybe it's time to dust off the old baiting gear.

While this isn't an official source (I'm looking for one that more carefully delineates things), note that lads will have more issues than before crossing some borders. One way to get firsthand information would be to send some lads on safari to scout things out (I'd be surprised if it were too hard to cross between Nigeria and Benin), but going from ECOWAS to non-ECOWAS countries or vice versa I imagine will be a real headache. A lot of this appears to apply to air travel, which I imagine most lads weren't doing before, more than anything else, but it's good to keep in mind that things won't be as simple as before.

Indeed, travel restrictions wary country by country. PCR tests are still required or accepted instead of vaccination in many of them.
The Irish and British foreign affairs website have detailed descriptions about them. Of course, it can be different for African countries, but these differences are often listed on the pages too.
In case of Liberia, the extra costs seem to be real. While it is still the best to know this by the firsthand experience of lads.
