With the plethora of streaming services available, what shows are you currently watching?
Anything you recommend? Anything to stay away from?

Currently faves:
Outlaws on Prime
House of the Dragon on HBO
Survivor on CBS
The Mole on Netflix
(Anxiously awaiting the return of Yellowstone)

I generally don't watch current shows; I have trouble keeping track of whats going on from week to week! I'll usually wait for two or three seasons, and then binge watch if they are interesting. Or check out shows from years ago that I never watched in the first place.

I'm currently watching 'The Shield' (for the third time). I re-watch 'Chernobyl' about once a year. Some documentaries that have really caught my attention...'Making a Murderer/Making a Murderer 2', 'Dirty Money', 'Worst Roommate Ever'.

And yes, I'm jonesing me some more Yellowstone!

What did you think of 1883?

I've been re-watching The Sopranos and Deadwood (for the 7th time).

Friday Night Lights and Justified are often re-watched (and I want to go back and visit The Amerikans).

I've yet to see The Shield, The Wire, Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, or Better Call Saul.

I've had Sopranos and The Wire box sets for years and haven't got around to watching them.
Rewatched all of ER a while back. The early seasons with Mark Greene, Doug Ross, Carter, Rocket Romano are wonderful, great characters.
Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are both superb, best shows on TV for donkeys years.
UK shows worth checking out; Peaky Blinders, The Fall, Broadchurch and The Missing.

Currently binging (because we're close to Halloween) - The X Files. I hate that Hulu has added commercials and I am going to drop it for a bit because FreeVee/Netflix also has X Files with commercials, and I have too many streaming services. I'm sad, because I started watching "The Bear" on Hulu, which is VERY well acted, so I'll put that one on pause for a bit. I really loved "Only Murders in the Building".

I'm reading Bram Stoker's "Dracula" via the "Dracula Daily" emails that have come since the 'journaled' story began in May - I highly recommend this service to everyone, and if you sign up in late November after this year's story timeline is over, you'll receive the free emails starting in May 2023. This Halloween, the Wynona/Keanu movie version will be available for free on Amazon Prime Video.

On Netflix, I am sad they won't make a season 2 of Night Sky, which was a fun sci-fi series with J.K. Simmons and Sissy Spacek. The first season is worth a watch, and perhaps it's OK that it ends on a cliffhanger...

I haven't quite finished Better Call Saul, but I loved Breaking Bad & organized a party at work where we did a reading of the poetry of BB while eating pizza (not flung on any roofs), "burnt" teddy bear cookies garnished with blue rock candy, and I brought flasks with red drink mix powder at the bottom so they turned blood red when we poured clear soda in them. We played some of the music from the show while eating.

Besides the obvious ones (Rings of Power, House of Dragons, Andor) I am currently watching Pennyworth (origin story of Batman's buttler).

Also, when i'm working, like to have something going in the background. The Middle and 2 Broke Girls (don't judge me) are perfect for that.

Recently finished watching "Outlaws" on Amazon Prime and just started the Terminal List while I wait for Yellowstone's Return.

FWIW, this season of Survivor has some excellent participants.

Chernobyl was one of the best things ever put on TV! I started watching The Peripheral (mostly because Neuromancer was so prescient and deeply inspired my thinking) but haven't seen enough episodes yet to formulate an opinion....

I've been watching I Literally Just Told You on channel 4. Something about it just appeals to my psyche, even though I would get almost all the questions wrong. :D

Holy guacamole, they are working on putting Neuromancer on Apple TV!

I loved the book, need to read it again before I watch any adaptation of it. Still have my original dog-eared copy from when I was in college.

Just finished the fifth season of 'FBI'; thoroughly enjoyed it. Started on the spinoff 'FBI: Most Wanted'; couldn't make it through the first episode.

Must make an honorable mention of one of my favorites. 'The Lost Room' with Peter Krause.
I like shows that take a new spin on an old genre, but this one created it's own genre and then spun it!
Too bad they didn't bring it back for a second season.
