Good morning!

Decided to return to this forum after 15-some years- I think.. I've been active a long time ago but due to a lot of stuff coming in between, the baiting stopped for a while on my end.

However, I ran into a scam of a bit of a different kind - someone impersonating a firm I work with. The scammer registered a similar-looking domain and was sending out e-mails to clients with the message to change the bank account details in their systems to the scammers' bank account.

Now I vaguely remember "Alan" who used to handle stuff bank-related but I couldn't find any hits on his name. Had to re-register my account as well because apparently my old account was lost somewhere in the past decade or so. Too bad..

I noticed that I could send the new details to a Moderator (it's a UK-based bank) but I guess I'm too new (or at least my account is...) to send private messages? Is there any other way to report a fraudulent bank account at this time?

Thanks; I tried sending a message to a mod but it seems to still be in my "Outbox" (instead of Sent messages). Is that correct? How (if at all) can I tell if the message got through?

The message will stay in your "Outbox" until it has been read by the recipient so all is good..

Happy new years, not a new member, rather an old one that has been doing that life thing outside of Lad Olympics. Joined back in June 2004, when Shiver was active with his lead Admin Tweety, some of my photochops are still in the gallery. Nice to see the board is still here and good work is still being done against the lads.

I was attracted to this site as I believe that any time using up a finite resource like a scammers time, is valuable use of my time.
I have been scammed by several crypto investment schemes and their offspring seem to grow like flies on a midden heap.
But enough of my woes.
I have just had to deal with a courier scam and wanted to warn the community about Delta Couriers.
They use several variations of the name all claiming to be legitimate courier services but as they seem to operate from a number of countries worldwide I think that if you come across any courier services who include the word Delta they are most likely scammers.
I registered as muckstrumpet because it is an alias that I find amusing but may just confuse the type of scammers for whom English is not their mother tongue

*For any linguistically challenged colonials, a strumpet is a breaded item, often served toasted for breakfast, so feel free whenever you are visiting a bakery in the UK to ask for a dozen strumpets.
